Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ivy I'm a 3 year old mastiff x and I am an extremely kind and placid girl, waiting for my second chance at life.
I came into OTC care after I was placed on Death Row at a pound. OTC came and met me, and couldn't say no to my beautiful face, So they rushed me into foster care and here I am - I am proving to be even more of a delight than everyone thought, and I am just loving life in foster care.
I love my foster siblings we get along so well. I enjoy having their company and it's quite clear I don't have a bad bone in my body. I settled in very quickly with everyone and adjusted to their lifestyle. I sleep outside with the other dogs at night and when the kids have gone to bed I get to come inside sometimes for quiet time. I spend my days outside lazing in the sun.
I don't have any favourite toys but my favourite hobby would have to be sleeping. If you can deal with a chilled out lady I may be the one for you or your family. Although I do ask that you don't have any cats as I'm not a big fan of them. But I am amazing with kids and dogs, I'm very gentle and loving.
I aim to please, that's for sure, and I have a lot of love to give to the right person, I hope that they are just around the corner. I am super loyal, you should see so for yourself. I promise to love you with all that I have.

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
