About Buddy
Buddy - where do I even begin? Sometimes you just come across an animal that is so lovely it defies sense. Buddy is that cat. He looks deeply into your eyes and rolls over purring as soon as you see him. He is incredibly gentle; a soft soul who simply wants to be petted and loved. He is easy to pick up and doesn't mind being held. He loves you to bring your face to him so that he can give you soft little head butts and smooches, and he will NEVER say no to a pat!
Buddy came to the clinic several times as a stray. His owners came to collect him the first few times, but most recently, they decided they weren't coming back for him.
Well, we believe that this is because Buddy is destined for greater things. Sometimes we need a guardian angel to come into our lives and show us the unconditional love and companionship that we crave. Buddy is that cat, and he is waiting for you to come forward and give him the forever home is so truly deserves.
Buddy is approximately 1.5-2 years old. With his bright pearly white teeth, glorious ginger tabby and white short-haired coat, and stunning Amber eyes and chubby cheeks, Buddy will surely melt your heart.
Buddy is great with other cats and he confidently approaches them for a smooch. He has also previously lived with a very boisterous dog (who he tolerated very well) and would be happy to share his home with a canine companion.
Beautiful Buddy comes desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. He is FIV negative and has a clean bill of health.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Part of our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. Part of that means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting illness or viruses etc. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families. Safe from harm :)
