About Timba and Flick
Please meet Timba and Flick. Although they didn't arrive at the facility together, they have made great friends since being with us and we would love for them to be rehomed together. To help with this, we have reduced their adoption price to $450 for the both of them.
A little about them both .....
We would love you to meet Flick (and she would love to meet you - she loves to meet everyone!). Flick is an AmStaff x born on the 26th January, 2017 who can't wait to find her forever home.
Flick is a lover of all things in this world. She loves to meet new people and she loves to make new doggy friends. We would recommend supervision around young children and the elderly as in her excitement to say hello, she can be jumpy. However, patient and confident training should see this habit improve in a home environment.
She would be a dream to take to off leash dog parks and beaches as she is always up for meeting new friends.
Flick loves to be out and about exploring the world and very much enjoys her walk. As she is still a pup and has had little to no training, she can pull on the lead at the start of her walk. To help with this, we have included 3 x free training lessons in her adoption fee.
She shows no sign of food aggression or seperation anxiety and she seems unfazed by loud noises (however we would recommend bringing her inside during thunderstorms and fireworks to ensure her safety).
Beautiful Flick is full of personality and would make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Flick would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Flick will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Is handsome what you are looking for? Then please meet Timba. This super gorgeous guy is a Boxer x Kelpie x Staffy born on 4th November, 2010 and is looking forward to finding his forever home.
Timba is a super affectionate guy who loves every person he meets and wants to shower you with his love. He also gets along well with other dogs, however we would recommend supervision with small dogs as he can be a little bit of a boisterous player! To help with this we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee.
It may be possible for Timba to live with pocket pets, although he would need a slow and positive introduction to them. Unfortunately, Timba is not a fan of cats and should not be rehomed with them.
He loves to be out exploring the world, and he can pull a little on the lead in excitement when first heading out for a walk - but soon settles.
A man of the world, Timba knows his basic commands - and even knows them in French and Spanish!
Timba shows no signs of food aggression - or any other sort of aggression - and he shows no signs of seperation anxiety. While he doesn't seem startled by loud noises, we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Timba is a gorgeous hunk of dogginess who would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Timba will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly handsome guy will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Timba and Flick's adoption fee is $450 for the both of them and includes their desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Timba and Flick are also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Timba and Flick, please drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 or email gosfordpound@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Timba and Flick are looking forward to meeting you
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
