About Oska
Handsome Oska came to the RSPCA as his owner was placed in palliative care, he had no one else to care for him. Oska is a friendly, sensitive boy that hasn't been exposed much too much in life. He has had to deal with a lot of new situations since arriving with us; such as meeting lots of new unfamiliar people and being in a strange environment. His new family will need to understand that everything will be on his terms and he will need time and patience to adjust to his new life. Oska doesn't mind the odd pat but he definitely doesn't like to be smothered, that's why we think it's best for him to go to a home with no children for the time being. It is crucial for his first week at his new home to be about settling in and bonding with his new family so it would be best to avoid walking him and taking him anywhere for the first week. Calm, relaxed handling is a must for him and with time Oska will gain confidence and be a great addition to the family. He could potentially live with a calm, mature female dog but would also just be happy on his own. If you could provide Oska with a calm and relaxing home then please come and meet him today or call on us on 92099323.
