About Finnigan
Hi there, my name is Finnigan but my mates call me Finn!
I was recently transferred to Lort Smith from another shelter. The team here have been great, they are more like family to me now. They take me out on daily walks, provide me with mental stimulation and enrichment.
My ideal home is one where I will be very much a part of the family. Being allowed indoors to snuggle and taken on lots of adventures would be awesome. I love human company so going to a home where my new carers are home often would be great. I can be a little boisterous so a home with no small children is preferable. And someone willing to continue working on my obedience and dog socialisation would be a real plus!
I can get a little excited and barky when other dogs are over the top and boisterous, I just cannot contain my excitement! I'm still a bit unsure of how to play with other doggos and have some learning to do - for this reason I will need to go to a strong handler that is willing to work with me on these behaviours.
I would be open to going to a home with another dog but they would have to be calm and confident, have good obedience and know how to play - I need a sibling to show me the ropes!
I already know how to sit and speak (bark) on command and I am super eager to learn more.
If you think I sound like I might be a good fit for you, please call the Adoption Hub for more information - 9321 7240.
