Barney arrived at the RSPCA after his previous family's circumstances changed and they could no longer look after him. He has since been looked after by our wonderful vet team and animal attendants and is now ready for adoption and eagerly awaiting to find his new forever home! Barney is a friendly big guy but can be nervous and wary in different situations so is looking for a family who is able to take things nice and slow, allowing him to settle in at his own pace so that he can feel comfortable. He would do best in a calm consistent home with routine and boundaries and a family who can provide plenty of positive training for life so he can gain his confidence to be his best canine self. Barney could potentially live with a calm female dog pending a meet but would also be happy as the only dog in the family. At the moment Barney is most suited to a home with no children.
