About Isis ~ Kelpie x Cattle Dog (on trial 5-5-18)
Hello my name is Isis, pronounced E sis like the Egyptian goddess. I am a 4 month old Kelpie x Cattle Dog girl and still getting bigger and cuter every day. I have been living with my two best pals Maya and Pongo who are teaching me how to be a good girl. We often go to the park where I am obedient and play nicely with other people and animals.
I love playing with Maya and Pongo and I am not scared that they are bigger and stronger. I’m pretty cheeky and I’m always ready to sneak behind them. I would need another buddy to keep me company as I have always been around other dogs and I wouldn’t know what to do all alone.
I am curious of everything and it’s easy to tell when I you get my attention – one of my ears goes straight up and the other one is flapping while I tilt my head on the side. I am a very smart girl too. I will always come back when you call me and sit when you say so.
I love learning new tricks, like skateboarding for example. I run along my humans or pull them as they go. I also jump all by myself into the car whenever you ask me to even though it was pretty scary only a few weeks ago.
I am always full of energy and that’s why my foster mum thinks I would be best suited for an experienced dog owner. Even though I’m quite energetic, I still love a good nap and I can do it wherever and whenever. I also love cuddling with my humans and I will run from the other side of my garden just to jump on you and lick you to show you all my love.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
