Hi I’m Kozi, a very polite, sweet and handsome 12 month old Border Collie x boy who loves other dogs and humans of all ages. I’m very gentle and kind, even around children, and although I may seem quiet at first, it doesn’t take me long to love my new people.
I am happy to play ball with my humans and will even bring it back to you. I will play nicely with dog friends of all shapes and sizes as I do like to share. A good game of chase always puts a smile on my face. My foster Mum says I have good manners and will sit before I get my dinner, I will even shake your hand. I’m so good at night time, sleeping all night without a peep. I’m crate trained and will also sleep on a doggie bed too. If people call me, I will come to them straight away, as I’ve been working on my recall.
I walk nicely on a lead and I am also a very good boy to take in the car as I travel very well. I even like going to the vet. I’m very sweet, smart and could be a perfect friend for your fur child. Super cute, super clever and polite, that’s me. I would love to find a new family to love, to teach me new things and who understands the needs of dogs who have working breed parentage. Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
