About Bindi BeD47991
Hi! I’m Bindi. I’m a beautiful natured and loving pooch. Foster Mum says I smile when I see her when she’s been out and comes back home again. If you pick me up, I’ll snuggle right into your shoulder. When I’m experiencing things for the first time, I like to sit back and watch until I’m sure, and then I’m right in there. Foster Mum says I’m a sookie la-la because I take fright at loud noises and run! So I’d like a calm home where I’m introduced to things at a gentle pace so it gives me time to become confident before moving on to the next new thing :) I’m good at car rides and meeting children already. Before you know it, I’ll be taking everything in my stride. I’m not exactly sure how big I will be when I’m all grown up, but Mummadog is large and I’m looking like I’ll be medium-large. The photos with the blue background were taken when I was 8 weeks old. I’m a beautiful brindle with lovely golden tones.
Want to know more about how to teach me to be a great dog? We dogs respond well to calm, assertive and consistent leadership from our humans. I’d like daily training so that I learn and keep on practicing sit, stay, come, down, and leave it. Then I will remember how to obey what you tell me to do. Also, if you always keep consistent with boundaries, like where I’m allowed to go in the house or what I’m allowed to do, it will mean that I always know the right way to behave. Socialising with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important for my confidence. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from being a dog that creates mischief at home out of boredom!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!
Soon, I’ll be at the puppy teething age, so tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. We puppies like to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so we don’t get bored with them.
I CAN FLY!
A few hours flying to Perth is absolutely worth it for animals who are located remotely if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying an animal to you. Travel costs are negotiable and never get in the way of a good match up!
