About Fagin
Sadly, Fagin's dear friend Franya has been diagnosed with lymphoma. We will be keeping them together during this time.
Are you a kind, compassionate quiet family who love cats and dogs who can take on Franya and Fagin? They would tell you a very sad story if they could speak.
Fagin is a wonderful and affectionate cat who is always happy and purring. He loves attention, cuddles, kisses, and requires a certain amount of stimulation. He’s also happy to snooze next to you after he’s worn out. He’s very tolerant of being carried and handled. He can be quite vocal when he wants something (food, attention, to play). He will sneakily lick your hand when you aren’t looking, or if you have just held something tasty.
He loves human company and loves Franya's company, but he can be left alone without incident. Fagin came to us with only three legs but it doesn’t seem to concern him. For a cat he is reasonably obedient and will come if you snap your fingers or tap the ground. He will need someone who likes to cuddle and can give him a fair amount of attention and physical touch. He needs someone kind, patient, and generous with their spare time. He loves been on laps and beds and next to Franya and can’t get enough cuddles. One of the most affectionate cats ever. His only bad habit is he can be quite vocal sometimes.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
