About Trixie Gandolfo
Trixie Gandolfo is a sweet dog who just wants a person she can love and give smooches to. She rarely makes any noise and when she does it’s usually to get your attention for another pat. She will become your shadow.
She would be happy as an only dog but if she was rehomed with another dog they would need to respect her space as she is more of a people person.
Her favourite place is to be asleep on the couch or your bed.
She can do with some more general training but she is eager to please so this will be fairly easy.
Trixie is fully house trained and will ask to go outside if she needs and responds quickly at night to her last outside visit.
Trixie isn’t particularly interested in dogs. She is happy to go up and say hello to a dog of a similar size provided it is calm when on a walk. She does not like dogs who get in her face and will give them a warning growl but shows no aggression She shows absolutely no interest in the dog she currently lives with.
She is not protective of her food.
We are currently working on Trixie’s pulling on the lead when she is being walked. She absolutely loves walks and initially gets so excited that she is almost choking herself. Once she settles down she is much better.
She hasn’t had any interaction with any cats or birds. .

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
