About Boots (CaV18-102)
Hey there I'm Boots! I'm at the front in the photo, pretending I'm a mop. I promise, I'm not really a mop and I definitely won't like it if you dunk me in a bucket of water!!
I've been in foster care with my mum and siblings for a few weeks now. I was very very shy and scared to begin with but I get braver by the day! I've learned that people aren't as scary as you might think and that they are actually pretty awesome because they give me cuddles and love and also food!
I still need time and patience so I hope my new family will be understanding and realise that it will take me a while to feel totally comfortable in a new place. I'll probably hide a bit in the beginning so you'll need to find me and give me lots of cuddles! I'm very placid and happy to be held for ages and ages - sometimes catching me is just the tricky part!
A slow and sensible introduction is a must if you have other pets or children. Or why not adopt me with my sister Indiana? We're almost identical twins!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
