About Rubicks (CaV18-97)
Rubick's cubes are very challenging and complicated things but I'm the TOTAL opposite of that. I'm an uncomplicated, easy-going kitty full of joy and love and spirit. I'm crazy affectionate and love to play and cuddle and be close to my people. I get on great with other cats, should be fine with calm dogs and would be wonderful for kids as I'm active and energetic. But I know how to relax too and I take to new people and places like a duck to water.
I've had a little bit of a tough time lately - I was picked up by the rangers and I had a nasty limp. Turns out that I had broken my leg! The vets said I had been walking around on it for at least a couple of weeks - I couldn't really keep track of time but man, it was pretty sore in the beginning! I'm a tough little nut though so I just got on with things.
Because it wasn't treated when I first broke it, my leg started to heal on its own. Luckily it was doing a pretty good job of it so the only treatment I've needed is strict cage rest for 4 weeks.
WOW I'm pretty bored now! And I have heaps of pent-up energy to burn. I'm pretty much ready to start having more normal activity now, though it would be good if you could try to stop me from doing too many zoomies around the house all in a row. Just one or two is good :)
Because of my injury, I'm going to permanently have one leg shorter than the other, just by a little bit. I may always have a slight limp and that leg is more likely to develop arthritis when I'm older. It is strongly recommended that I go to a home where I will be a strictly indoor-only kitty. Mainly because I may not be able to get out of the way of any predators (eg wandering dogs, big tom cats etc) quickly enough and also to minimise the chance of me doing any crazy kamikazee moves that could put unnecessary strain on my leg.
I LOVE people SO so much, so being indoors all the time sounds great to me anyway because it's where you spend a lot of your time so I can chill there with you. I can be your couch buddy, your bed buddy, your study buddy - whatever you need, I'm here.
My foster mum says I'm really really awesome (and I'm sure she's not biased!)

Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
