About Betty
Introducing our sweet, senior girl Betty.
Little Betty wants nothing more than to be loved! She is at her happiest when she is close to her special people getting cuddles or just sitting on your lap. She loves the company and enjoys feeling safe and secure in your arms.
Betty becomes a little unsure with new moves which is completely understandable but once she has time to settle in and realise she is safe, you will start to see her spritely, cheeky personality shining through. She is a very happy girl who does not ask for much. Company is all this gorgeous girl is seeking. She is quiet and seems to loves everyone she meets ones she has had a chance to feel comfortable with them.
A quiet home, relaxed home will be the best match for Betty to enjoy her twilight years with her special someone.
She is a little unsure around other animals so will be best suited to a home as an only dog. Little Betty is still quite agile for her age and she will need secure fencing with no gaps or holes that she can squeeze through.
If you are looking for a friend to spend your days with and to share an relaxing outing with, please consider Betty. She enjoys her trips in the car and her little adventures to visit friends. Places where she will not feel overwhelmed or find herself face-to-face with other animals are exciting for Betty as she does seem to like being out and about to take in different sights and sounds.
Betty spends most of her time indoors and sleeps inside and this will need to continue in her new home, toilet training is still being worked on so a home with easy access to outdoors is best, we're not sure if she had been toilet trained previous to coming into care.
If you are looking for a very sweet little lap dog and believe Betty would be a perfect companion for you, we would love for you to send through an enquiry!
Betty is located in Melbourne.
Medical notes
Betty has a grade 4 heart murmur and we have started her on medication which is intended to help prolong her life, she will need to continue on it for the rest of her life.
The price of the medication will vary betweeen vets but will be approximately $80 a month and this ongoing cost is something her new family will need to be prepared for.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
