About Trixie ~ Staffy x Labrador (on trial 25-4-18)
How could you look into Trixie’s eyes and not want to take her home?
Trixie is a 6 year old Staffy x Labrador. She is a very affectionate dog and wants nothing more then to be around her family. Trixie likes a relax so if you are chilling watching TV, she will be laying next to you having a snooze. She is quiet and does not bark.
Trixie enjoys a walk but can tend to pull so we recommend a walking harness for her.
Tricie has basic commands but can be a bit stubborn if it isn’t exactly what she wants to do. She is toilet trained and likes to sleep in a crate inside with the gate left slightly opened.
Trixie would suit full time workers as she happily entertains herself with her toys. Did I mention toys, Trixie loves them, all dog toys and she can be a bit protective of them if there is another dog. She is dog friendly but doesn’t need a furry friend for company.
Trixie would make a great relaxed family dog with children 8 years and above. If you would like to meet Trixie please contact John on 0422734954 or johnpgid@yahoo.com.au. She is located at Medowie and is available for adoption interstate.
Trixie’s adoption fee is $250 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
