Meet Iris! The sweetest most petite little snuggler ever. Iris started life the really hard way. Her mother gave birth to 8 kittens and wasn't able to look after herself and her 8 babies. Six of her babies were surrendered to our rescue at 3 weeks of age, and when we saw the state of them we knew we were in for some sleepless nights. Sadly one by one our babies gave up the fight, even though we provided them with the best care and veterinary support. Iris and her brother Riley were the only two babies to pull though and are now doing wonderfully. Having such a bad start to life definitely hasn't dampened Iris's spirits, and she is just such a delightful and smoochy little girl.
WHAT IS PRE ADOPTION?
Once our babies receive their first vaccinations and get a clean bill of health from our vets, they then go up for pre adoption. Our babies up for pre adoption are too young to leave care as they aren't old enough to have all of their vaccinations, microchipping, or their desexing procedures performed. They are however old enough to have meet and greets with potential new forever homes, and to be pre adopted. Once pre adopted, our babies will remain in care until they are old enough for the rest of their vet work to be completed (another 4 weeks from the date of their first vaccination). During this time you are more than welcome to arrange another meet, or two, or three, with your new fur baby. We then let you know once they have had their vet work completed and they are then ready to leave us, and join your new home ❤
Please get in touch if you would like to meet Iris, or any of our other rescue animals.
Medical notes
Iris will have her desexing procedure preformed once she weighs a little more.
