About Rhodi ~ Ridgeback X (on trial 30/6/2019)
This gorgeous young lady is Rhodi, a Ridgeback x who we think she is around 3 years old. Rhodi was saved by DRN from a pound so we are not 100% sure of her full breed or age. Rhodi is looking for a loving home to make her own.
Rhodi likes nothing more then to follow you around wherever you go so if you are looking for a dog as a companion, this girl is for you.
Rhodi enjoys her walks and is great on lead. She will happily walk beside you without pulling.
Rhodi has basic training and will sit, stay and come when called.
Rhodi is a real smoocher so will need to be included in family time. She sleeps inside in her own space and is toilet trained.
Rhodi is very good natured but needs someone home more often than not. If left for too long on her own, she will come and look for you!
Rhodi is dog friendly but she does prefer human company. She doesn’t need another dog to entertain her.
Rhodi would not suit full time workers. She is suitable for a family with children 10 years and above but ideally would make someone a great companion dog so someone retired would be ideal.
If you would like to meet Rhodi please contact John who is looking after her on 0422 734 954 or johnpgid@yahoo.com.au Rhodi is located in Medowie and is available for adoption interstate.
You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Rhodi's adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
