About Kobi
Meet Kobi. He is approx 8 year old Bichon Frise X and is a lovely little guy. He has cataracts on both eyes but still sees light/shade and gets around quite well on his own.
Kobi walks well on/off lead and travels well in the car. He is an inside/outside dog but is not properly house trained. He is working on that with his foster mum along with basic commands and is making great progress.
He would make a lovely companion animal. He is not needy but has come from a home where mum and dad were home during the day. Not suited to a household with young children and is not really interested in playing with other dogs. He gets on fine with other dogs as long as they don’t annoy him. He’s a non yapper and doesn’t jump all over the furniture.
Kobi is currently taking expressions of interest and will be available for adoption 23rd April 2018.
If you would love to meet this beautiful boy, please get in touch.
Medical notes
Kobi is vision impaired. He has cataracts on both eyes but can still see light and shade. He can still get around quite well on his own.
Micro-chip details to be given upon adoption.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0400346347 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
