About Olive
Olive is a real cutie!
Everyone who meets Olive thinks she is adorable and we totally agree. She is extremely happy and confident and loves to have fun. She loves her games and her toys and especially getting into mischief with her brother, Freddie and the resident dog.
Olive is loving life. Lots of games and then cuddles with her carers is a daily routine for her. She loves affection and being close to her people after the doggy playtime becomes too tiring and a puppy nap is needed.
These pups are showing to be very clever, they are learning some basic commands and are very pleased with themselves when they get it right. They love praise and try really hard to make their people happy. Olive is also getting the hang of toilet training ad is now remembering more often to let her carer know when she needs to go outside.
In their foster home Olive and Freddie sleep inside so they feel safe and secure. They are hanging on overnight most night and will quickly head to the door to go outside in the mornings.
Considering Olive's breed, she will require regular walks and outings to help her continue developing her confidence and social skills with other dogs and people. She is quite active and will need lots of mental stimulation as she grows to keep her amused and occupied. Daily outings with her family are also a great way for her to gain their trust and create a special bond with her important people.
Olive will be looking for a home with a MALE desexed dog of similar size and energy levels so she will have a companion in life to learn from and offer her guidance when she heads off to her new family. She will not be suited to a home as an only dog. Olive is very adventurous and will not cope being as only dog. She will possibly become bored and destructive when left alone to make her own fun.
A home with a large yard will be a great fit for Olive. She will most likely grow to a bigger 'medium' sized girl so will need lots of room to move as she grows.
Please contact us if you believe you have a special place in your home for Olive. We look forward to hearing from you.
Olive will not be ready to head to her new home until after 20/4 but can be met beforehand to see if she is the right fit for your family and current canine in your home.
Olive is currently in care in Ballarat, Victoria
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
