About Nala ~ Jack Russell x Cattle Dog on trial 20-4-18
This sweet, 5 year old is Nala and she is looking for a new home or a foster carer to look after her until adoption. She is a Jack Russell x Cattle Dog and is not a very big girl.
Nala is a friendly dog who likes nothing more than a game of fetch but if you are happy to chase her after she fetches even better! You will not get the smile off her face.
Nala has been a family dog and will need to be included in family life including sleeping inside although she has slept outside in a kennel before.
She has had basic training and will sit, lays down, has good recall and will shake for a treat. She loves going for a walk and if let off lead will run around but does come when called. Nala only barks if she can see someone approach the house or sees another dog coming.
Nala gets very excited when anyone comes home and nearly talks to you trying to say “hello”. She is happy to sit around with the family and will often come up for a pat. Nala loves to follow anyone around the yard while doing chores and then happily sits to watch you work. She just enjoys the company.
Nala currently is an only dog and is happy in her own company and fine to be left by herself if people work or go to school. She is dog friendly but doesn’t need a companion to entertain her.
Nala would make a great family dog for a family with kids 10 years or older, a young couple looking for a settled dog or a semi retired or retired couple.
If you would like to meet Nala Sharron is taking all enquiries for her on 0423 331057 or sstudley3@bigpond.com. Nala is located at Gillieston Heights NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Nala’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
