Digby is a delightful, affectionate, playful little dog located in Perth (enquiries to Karratha branch). He's smart - it took him two seconds to work out the doggy door at his foster home. He's very dog social and happy to greet every dog he meets, so would probably suit living with another dog. He adored a trip to the beach, with the highlight for him of playing with other dogs there. He loves being with people, especially being on the couch and snuggling up next to his humans. He’s not a barker - but barked to the vet nurse when she playfully initiated a “barking conversation” with him. So he could easily be trained to “speak”.

Given he enjoys being around people so much, he would be ideal for
• a family with older children where someone is home a lot
• someone who works part-time or
• someone who works from home or
• is an active retiree
• otherwise he would need a home with another young dog as a playmate.

He has a tendency to nip when he’s excited which is why we wouldn’t recommend him for young children.

Young Digby weighs 10kg and enjoys two half-hour walks a day. He loves
• wrestling with rope toys and his soft toys
• playing fetch with the tennis ball
• pulling coconut husks apart!
