Hiya! I am the fabulous Buckley! I like dogs, and cats too! I sit and wait for my food, but I haven’t had much training otherwise. I’m a very active dog. I would love to live in a home where there’s someone at home a lot of the time, where you’ll train me, exercise me twice a day and incorporate me into your family life. I’m a large sized, boisterous and strong labrador, weighing 40-45kg, and I haven’t been used to getting regular walks so I get extra excited about going on them. One of those inexpensive Black Dog brand Balance Harnesses and training leads would be perfect for using on our walks. I’ve lived with small children who I absolutely adore, but I get excited and jump, so I'd be better suited to an older family.

I feel the heat too. So I want to be adopted to do the south of the state. Having a doggy door would allow me to escape inside away from the heat when I need to. And I’d love one of those shell pools to splash around in.

If I don’t get my walks, like the majority of dogs, I’ll find other things to amuse me - like chewing things I shouldn’t. And I’d much rather be “a good boy”.
