Zelda

Gorgeous Zelda came into our care when her previous owners were no longer able to meet her needs and requirements, so they asked the RSPCA to find an owner who could! Unfortunately Zelda suffers from separation anxiety and therefore needs an owner who is home most of the time and is happy for her to be an inside dog so that she can bond and find comfort in her new home and family. Due to this we also recommend that her owner have had previous experience with dogs. Zelda is a very sweet girl but can get stressed with new people and different situations so her new owner will need to be diligent in identifying times when she is not coping and allow her to adjust in her own time and not pressure her.
Being a working breed means that she is a smart girl who requires daily exercise and interesting enrichment which can come in the form of food puzzles or Kong's, to keep her brain engaged and satisfied. To see this beautiful girl reach her full potential she will need a family who enjoys a good daily walk and is dedicated to positive reinforced training. It is also possible for Zelda to live in a family with children and also with another dog which is calm, however it is pending a meet.
