About Roo
Roo is such a happy little pocket rocket!
This gorgeous girl is still a puppy, with all that entails...pouncing, chewing things, running around with her toys, as well as learning new things like sitting and walking on a lead. She loves a walk - there's just so much to see and sniff out there!
Roo is eager to please and just loves everyone!! She loves her canine foster sister (a very patient Lab!), her feline foster brother (inside cat) and any other dog or person she has met while out walking. She loves her foster family and is very keen on the couch and tummy rubs. Like a lot of puppies, Roo uses her mouth when she is playing, but she isn't rough and is getting the message that she shouldn't do that.
Roo takes a treat gently from your hand and has discovered that she quite likes a little crust of toast now and then! She doesn't gobble her food and can have the bowl taken away with no issues.
Roo would be best suited to a home where she can be with her people a lot, and have another friendly dog for company if you're absent. She is still learning not to mouth or jump up in excitement, so a home with no little children may be better suited to her. Dog savvy cats would be fine with supervised introduction, as she likes to lick their faces!
Working dogs need companionship, stimulation and exercise, so Roo's forever home need to be aware of this. Roo is a lovely young dog who doesn't seem to have had much training but she is keen to please and is making good progress which should be continued.
