About Princess and Noah ~ Mini Poodles on trial 19-4-18
Princess and Noah are a sweet bonded pair of toy poodles who are looking for their forever home together.
Noah is a 10 year old lovely boy who is still very active and who loves to play with his toys. His favourite toy is his ‘mousie’ and he will fetch and happily bring back to you, over and over again.
Princess is 8 years old and has a quiet nature and can be shy at first until she gets to know you. She is content to sleep close to you whilst you are home and will keep a watchful eye on what you are doing around the house.
They are more than happy to sleep in the lounge room, either on their beds, or the lounge (if allowed) but love nothing more than to snuggle up on your bed if allowed. Princess and Noah are in foster care with 4 cats who they get along with very well and at times will even try to share their toys with them.
Princess and Noah need to be allowed in the house at all times with access to outside. They are both toilet trained, and have had no accidents inside since coming into care. Noah has mastered the doggy door and Princess is learning how (she goes out but still learning how to come back in).
They both travel very well in the car (either in a crate or harnessed) and you will not hear a sound from them in the back seat – they are just happy to be spending time with you.
They have not shown any separation anxiety when left home alone for short periods and will show excitement when you come home, and often will bring you the closest toy they can find. They will only bark when they hear a strange noise or to let you know that someone is at the door.
Although Princess and Noah are 8 and 10 years old they are still quite active and will often play with their toys either by themselves or with someone. As they are only small they don’t need to be walked every day but would enjoy some active play time or short walk. They have been around smaller dogs whilst in foster care and have been very friendly.
Princess and Noah have shown no signs of being nervous or aggressive around small children and are very gentle with them. As they are older dogs though it would be best for them to go a quiet home where someone is home most of the time. They would best suit a retired couple or individual or a part time worker.
Princess and Noah are in foster care in Budgewoi, NSW (Central Coast) and are available for interstate adoption. For more information or to meet Princess and Noah, please contact Jackie by email jackie.bryant1@outlook.com.au or on 0416 046 055 (after 5pm), leaving a message with a name and contact details.
Princess and Noah’s adoption fee is $500 adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
