Mr Love Bug!

Aries is an absolutely gorgeous boy. He gets around with a big smile on his face and his happiness is infectious. Affectionate should be his middle name as he loves nothing better than to cuddle up beside you on the sofa. He also loves pats and attention from everyone. When you get home or first see him in the morning he is so excited to see you but he is generally a very calm and easy going dog. Aries has recently had an extreme hair cut due to an unkempt coat but he will need regular brushing and grooming as his non-shedding coat grows out again.

We can add social to his list of attributes as he gets along with all other dogs that he meets. He is currently in care with two other small dogs and enjoys visits to the dog park. Aries is out of the playing stage but definitely likes the company of his canine friends. Despite his older age he still loves his daily walks but does not need huge amounts of exercise.

Aries is a well mannered gentleman. He is housetrained, not a barker, and will sit very patiently while his dinner is being prepared. He also walks very nicely on the lead and is good off lead at the dog park as he stays quite close to his carer. Aries is an indoor dog and must be welcomed into the family home so that he can spend time with you and take up that spare spot on the couch that you have.

We are looking for a loving home for Aries where he is a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will require a home with another placid dog for company or where someone is home more often than not to give him the attention that he deserves. He is currently in care with a kitten but finds it very exciting so is best suited to a home without cats. Aries has cataracts in both his eyes but has not trouble getting around or going to new places at this point in time. Taking into account any diminishing eyesight in the future, it would also be best if his new home was quieter and had limited steps for him to navigate. He must also have a soft and comfortable bed to sleep on inside at night. Oh and don’t forget he needs lots of cuddles!
