Hi there, nice to meet you my name is Banjo! I recently came into a vet clinic as a stray with a massive swollen face and leg, riddled in fleas and very skinny! The vet first thought that I had been hit by a car, X-rays confirmed no broken bones just major swelling.
I was healing nicely eating and on antibiotics to reduce swelling, a few days later when the staff arrived in the morning I gave them a bit of a scare, they thought i was about to die as there was blood every where. I required a blood transfusion, iv fluids, vitamin B and K. After 24 hours of intensive care I came good and haven't looked back, I am now a happy and healthy thriving puppy.
In my foster home i currently sleep in a crate. I Spend my day inside and out wherever i please i go. I am a fun loving puppy with lots of love to give. At my foster home i have lots of favorite toys including the following: chicken, pizza, turtle, dinosaur, teething ball (I can’t decide which one I like more, So variety is an option for toys). My Favorite activity is chasing after my foster fur siblings, nothing beats running around having fun
.
I have not been tested with children yet, but being a puppy with a little bit of training i think i would be the perfect family companion. I have been tested with two cats and i was okay with them, i try to play with them but not hurt them. I am currently attending a puppy preschool, so plenty of socialization with other dogs and i love them! A sibling would be great if i was to be adopted.
I have learnt some tricks such as sit, stay (for the most part), I am still learning to wait for dinner and drop. As you can see my life has had a big start to it, We don't know exactly where i came from or what my life was like previously but we do know that my life now is going to be wonderful, and i hope that you can find it in your heart to consider adopting me if you think i may be the right dog for you. Thank you for the taking the time to read my profile. Take Care Love Banjo!

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
