About Mya
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
The name Mya has its origins back in ancient Egypt from the word “mry”, which means 'beloved.' And she is beloved by her foster family. We know she’ll also be beloved by her new human or family.
This gorgeous girl is 9 years old but don’t let her age fool you and don’t tell her she’s a senior. Her foster carers have dubbed her ‘The Ginger Ninja’. She loves her walks, takes every opportunity to play with everyone and likes to let you know how she is feeling with lots of chatter. She loves her foster parents too, and she is happiest with a house full of company and loves to nap close to her humans.
Miss Mya (as she prefers to be called) LOVES humans, and hanging out with them. She also loves her foster brother Meeko, and we’ve learnt that she would really enjoy having fun energetic male to play and hang out with. She’s a party animal and Meeko can’t keep up with her!
Mya really needs a special home. She needs a fur friend for company as she gets very scared when she’s by herself. While she doesn’t like it when her humans go to work, if she’s got a routine with consistent departure and arrival times, she doesn’t mind following the pattern. She’s a girl who needs order and company, and will be best with someone who’s home most of the time.
Mya is very food motivated and is currently doing crate training with her foster parents. She would benefit for some more socialisation, to improve her lead manners and to build her confidence.
Mya has lots of love to give, and years’ worth of time to give too. She’s healthy, happy and just needs the right home where she can truly shine.
If you think you fit the bill, please get in touch and arrange to meet her. She’s stolen our hearts and we want her to find her happy ever after.
She’s stolen our hearts an we want her to find her happy ever after.
