About Chase ~ American Staffy (on trial 14/4/2018)
Chase is a 4 and half year old male American Staffy. He is a friendly, affectionate dog and is extremely patient and gentle around people and children.
Chase is house trained and sleeps inside of a night on his bed and will need to continue to do so. During the day he is happy to play outside, loves a game of tug of war and would be fine left outside while family is at work or school. However he loves to be around the family when they are home and currently comes in and out as he pleases.
Chase is very obedient and knows to sit, stay and come. He loves going for a walk and wears a halti without issue. He does get excited if another dog comes along so needs some positive redirection in this area. We suggest not to let him off lead around other dogs.
Chase currently lives with another male dog but we feel he would be best as an only pet as he can get a little anxious around other animals including cats. He is brilliant with children of all ages and has a quiet, relaxed nature.
Chase is a very low maintenance dog and would be an amazing companion for a family, with or without children.

Chase’s adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. (2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
