About Jed ~ 10 year old Pug (on trial 21/4/18)
Jed is a 10 year old Pug x that is looking for his forever home. We don’t know too much about his history as his owner passed away but he seems to have been well loved and well fed! The limited records that we have for Jed indicates he has been desexed and vaccinated.
Although Jed loves a walk he also enjoys the quiet life and you will often find him snoozing on the couch.
Jed is good with kids. He just loves to hang out with the family. If you’re inside, he’ll be inside. If you wander out the back, he will follow. Jed sleeps inside either on their dog bed or on the couch. He would prefer to be an only dog.
Jed is not much of a barker but he does get excited when you first get home and will let off a few barks at dinner time because food is very exciting to him! Jed will also bark at thunder (thunder did not care).
Being a Pug x, Jed has a funny personality but can also be a bit stubborn. He will sit for a food reward but otherwise will do as he pleases. I would be wary of letting him off the leash due to his stubborn nature, he will only return when he feels like it.
Being 10 years old, Jed certainly prefers the quiet life and loves lounging around the house. He would suit someone who is either retired or someone who works part time. He doesn’t seem too fussed to be left alone for short periods of time.
For more information or to meet Jed, please contact Donna on Timmypebmilo@hotmail.com. Jed is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Jed’s adoption fee is $150 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
