On Hold
James was found tied to a tree and abandoned. He was collected by pound staff and he did his mandatory time in the pound before coming into care. It is clear that james has been an afterthought for a long, long time. He is a shy yet gentle and dignified fellow who gratefully accepts whatever kindness is shown to him. He is good with other dogs and he just wants to get along and he does not appear to be at all interested in cats. He has been under vet care and is being treated as a result of long term neglect which includes a chronic and untreated ear infection, some baldness on his back due to a severe infestation of fleas (the hair will grow back), fly bitten ears (that are healing) and his front teeth ground down to almost nothing (but he loves to eat). James would love to be the recipient of tender loving care that has been sadly missing for the majority (if not all) of his sad life thus far. If anyone could give james a loving home which he so badly needs and deserves, he would reward you with all he can give back. James coat and overall condition will transform with good food and all that a good home has to offer but it is already clear that the effect of good nutrition and care is already having a positive effect. Preferred contact is via the phone numbers listed. Emails won't be acknowledged
