About Maui ^^Dandy Cat Rescue^^
Maui is an older boy who had a tough start to life and as a result he takes his time to trust people. But once he believes in you, Maui opens up his heart and allows your love to pour in.
This special guy is a very gentle and quiet kitty who is happy to spend time on his own or sit with you to watch movies (he sleeps, you watch). As he is quite shy to start with, Maui would be well suited to a "cat person' who knows that it takes time to settle in to a new home with a new person before he can fully be himself.
Once out of his shell Maui is quite a funny kitty. He loves to chirp (drool) at birds in the window and he loves doing laps of the bed before choosing just the right place to curl up and sleep. Also don't expect to get much privacy in the toilet as that's where he likes to connect with you the most, oddly.
Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Fill out our adoption form that we have available either via email (dandycatrescue@yahoo.com) or at our adoption days
2. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
3. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home
4. If your adoption is successful we ask that you pay the nominated fee to us in cash either at the adoption day or at the home visit. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions or online banking transfers at this stage.
5. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty which will include a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership form that must be completed and paid by you ($15 fee applies) no later than four weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
