About Zeus
What a wonderful cat is Oobi.
He was found as a stray in a Fyshwick dumpster, nervous of all and skitty of any noises. Brought in by a caring worker, he was fostered in a loving environment for several weeks to acclimatise with other kittens his age and three grown cats.
Oobi socialised slowly at first, unsure of his new food, the noises, smells and activities. His true love of food overrode all however....
Now Oobi eats everything, voraciously, loves "his" big cats, plays beautifully with the smallest kittens, treats his humans with love and new human visitors are required to provide attention. He is a gentle soul.
Oobi loves back scratches, belly scratches, upside-down play, play with sticks, bark and feathers, and playing in the rustling leaves. He loves the sun, the lawn, the inside windowsill and watching the magpies. He is a cuddler and absolutely loves sitting on top of you while you sleep. He enjoys kneading woolly blankets and loves a hot rock (or bottle) to sleep with. He hates being alone, needing to be with people and sleeping with them if possible. While he is not yet a lap-cat, he could easily become one if encouraged to do so.
Oobi knows his name, the clink of the plates to indicate dinner time, clicking fingers for "come" and chair patting for jump. While he is especially thick for a cat (he's a slow one!) this is overcome because he is very cute and has a cheerful and playful demeanour.
Oobi would love a house with gentle children, a few big cats (he relates well with them) and access to the sun.
