About Sarge ~ Wolfhound X (on trial 19/5/2018)
Described as 3 year old Wolfhound x “old soul” Sarge has a face that will melt your heart. He love pats and affection and will put his paws on you for more pats when you stop.
Sarge is the happiest boy around with his soulful eyes that gaze at you with loving affection. He is not keen on baths after all that water is really scary stuff!
Sarge is a real ladies’ man and prefers women as he can be quite timid around men and will require patience to develop trust. He loves it when you throw a ball for him to chase, he loves chasing them too.
Ideal home for Sarge would have high fences. He would much prefer to be an only fur kid and have you to himself and get all the pats. Sarge is not too keen on female dogs.
Sarge would make wonderful companion for a patient older person looking for a best mate who is willing to continue with Sarge’s training and give him the love and affection he so desperately wants.
For more information or to meet Sarge, please contact his foster carer Penny on pennyneedham88@gmail.com. Sarge is in foster care in Cessnock area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Sarge’s adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
