About Max and Mindy ~ Jack Russell X (on trial 6-5-2018)
Twice the amount of fun! Introducing the charismatic Max and Mindy. This brother and sister duo are full of personality and charm and are looking for a new family.
Mindy is a slightly shy but a very happy little girl. Sometimes she's so happy that she wags her tail too much and she starts to walk butt first. It's quite hilarious really but she usually gets it under control in a few seconds.
Mindy is truly one of the sweetest creatures to walk the earth. Her doe eyes let you see right into her soul. To top it off she also has the softest coat. She is just so special.
Max, Max, Max ... He's a little bit bigger, always has one ear up, one ear down. He loves a good game with a squeaky toy, steals his sisters food and is super affectionate. He thinks he's the boss of Mindy (but he's really not). Max was born with a bow in his front legs. He does not have a limp of any kind and lives his life unhindered and completely confident in his good looks.
Max and Mindy are Jack Russell Terrier x, 8 years old from the same litter, and completely house trained. Not barkers or escape artists. They are happy to spend the day together outdoors waiting for you to come home, but will need to be inside for company and sleep in the evening. Super affectionate and patient with kids, and have even done well with roughhousing boys. They are so closely bonded, they sleep on the same bed and follow each other around the house. Max and Mindy are not suited for cats or pocket pets.
For more information or to meet Max and Mindy, please contact their foster mum Kylie on sausageandmaggie@outlook.com. Max and Mindy are in foster care in Fletcher, NSW and are available for adoption interstate.
Max and Mindy’s adoption fee is $600 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
