About Jacob D3829
I’m Jacob. I’m a loving, happy pup. I’m having a great time with my foster family where I have children to play with and snuggle up to. I love being with them! I’m a smart boy and learnt toilet training really quickly. When I first came to SAFE I found it a bit scary when the other dogs in the neighbourhood are barking, but now I know I’m SAFE and it’s OK. I was a stray puppy, and my foster carer has been working with me to help me gain trust around food and I’m doing so well with it.
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like a home where my owners are calm, assertive and consistent. Daily training is important so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I always know the right way to behave. And of course, socialising with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from creating mischief at home!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!
I CAN FLY!
A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for a remotely located animal like me if it means I have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to QANTAS.
