Nature
Nutmeg is a gentle girl, but new people frighten her until she watches quietly for a while from a safe distance or cat cave. Her 2 brothers have taught her to roughhouse and play so she is good with other kitties. Nutmeg eats all foods offered and enjoys being picked up and cuddled.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Nutmeg lives with her 2 brothers whom she adores and one sister and 2 senior cats. She is cautious around the older cats. Nutmeg also lives with two adults who she loves and snuggles with. Nutmeg is litter box trained. Her early experiences with children were not positive - but she is young and should be able to be won over slowly by kind, gentle, loving children. She has not met any dogs.
Likes / Dislikes
Boisterous voices and movements, and the wearing of hats and boots startle her - but this has greatly improved since coming into care. She loves jingle balls in the track circle and a catnip rat. She enjoys everything offered for food - wet food morning and night and a few biscuits to graze on in between. Her other favourite thing is Smitttens or Whiskas cat milk. A soft cat cave is her usual go to place till she feels confident.
