I’m Aiden. I’m cuddly, energetic, clever and handsome! My carers reckon I’ve got all the tick boxes checked! I enjoy walks on the beach. I love sitting up high, and sitting in water. I’m great with children and my foster carer says I’d be fabulous for a family with a big backyard. I get along well with all dogs, but I don’t like chooks or rabbits. I can sit, stay, and shake hands. I do have a habit of jumping up, although I’ll stop if you tell me not to do it, so I’d prefer a home where there the children are old enough to be consistent with me about not doing that.

Like all dogs, I’d like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I remember how to obey what your commands. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I always know the right way to behave. And of course, socialising with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise twice a day is vital for a border collie like me, as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from creating mischief at home - although I’m not naughty because I get plenty of exercise at my foster home!!!!

I CAN FLY!
A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to SAFE and QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
