About Max ~ 1yo kelpie x
Max is a happy, healthy and loving 1yo kelpie x bull Arab. He is a playful boy with a beautiful temperament and lovely nature. He enjoys running and playing with his foster siblings.
Being very intelligent, Max is quite easy to train and always responds well. He is toilet trained, sits and stays on request and walks well on the lead. However, more training is required in these aspects. Being quite a strong and boisterous dog (70cms high, measured at his shoulder), he will need someone comfortable with large dogs when training and walking. Though Max loves children, being big and boisteroous, it would be best if he was around only older children. He needs high fencing and lots of room to run.
With his smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just the occasional bath and brush, Max is very low maintenance. Max suffers a little from separation anxiety, so he would love a home with other canine friends to play with and to be taken for plenty of walks.
If you feel you can provide this deserving dog a loving, permanent home and make him part of your family, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or email dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Max is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Max was surrendered to Dog Rescue Mudgee through no fault of his own. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and free of fleas and worms. His adoption fee is $300.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
