About Willow
Looking for a pup who is full of energy and loves adventure?
Willow is a very confident, energetic and intelligent Boxer mix puppy. She is a solid girl who will grow to be medium-large in size.
Willow has been exposed to lots of different situations showing just what a resilient and confident girl she is.
She has met sheep, chickens (however is not allowed with them unsupervised), horses, children and loves to be apart of all the action.
Willow is going well with her toilet training and basic obedience. She has lots of energy and gets excited, so still needs reminders to keep all four paws on the ground. She would benefit from going to regular obedience classes as she grows to help her become a well-behaved and obedient adult.
She is a lovely girl with a strong personality and will require a lot of gentle, but consistent guidance as she matures.
Willow's new family will need to be quite active and able to provide Willow with the daily exercise, mental stimulation and socialisation she needs. Willow is, again, a very active little puppy. She loves a good wrestle with the adult dogs in her foster home, and hikes in the bush.
She will benefit from a home with a larger sized yard and access to inside the house.
Willow loves other dogs and will require an equally active, male, desexed dog in her new home to ensure she always has company and someone to help her settle in. As mentioned, her preferred form of play with other dogs is wrestling, so your dog must love that, too!
If you have a suitable doggy friend, lots of spare time to socialise and raise a new, loving and energetic little pup, we would love to hear from you!
Willow is located in Ballarat.
Medical notes
It seems that before she was rescued from the pound at 7wks, Willow may have suffered a broken jaw. This is unnoticeable from the outside nor the inside, and the way it has naturally healed seems to have no ill effect on her eating ability nor the development of her jaw.
It also causes her no pain and she is still a very happy and bubbly girl.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
