About Mercy
Teddy bear girl Mercy is waiting for the right home to come and find her, a loving girl who is just looking for a home of her very own.
Mercy adores people and would love someone who wants to include her in their lives, be it inside during the night, out on adventures and walks around to see the wide world.
She is good with other dogs and would easily suit a home with a calm natured male dog but would easily suit a home as a very much loved only dog if her humans were around more often than not.
She has shown to be good on leash and would benefit from a walk a day and continued training and socialisation.
She isn't quite suited for a home that frequents dog parks and dog beaches as she can sometimes not understand the differing ways that dogs introduce themselves when over excited.
We would say kids over the age of 10 would suit her best and a home without cats and pocket pets would suit best.
She hasn't shown to be scared of males or females humans so she would easily suit a household with either owner.
She would do best with secure fencing of at least 6ft free from gaps and holes. She isn't quite suited for rural fencing so we would say a home without this is essential.
Mercy is scared of thunderstorms and fireworks so will NEED a home that allows her inside during these times. She is also crate trained so may benefit from a home that can continue this, especially during these times.
A home that understands that she is gentle and loving is best suited for her. And one that can provide her with adequate love and attention.
Mercy is located in the lower hunter valley region and her adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
