About Petey
Little Petey is a smart cautious, clever little boy.
He has learned to use a potty mat, but obviously still has accidents.
He has been well socialised in a pack of 6 dogs, and learns very quickly his boundaries.
This boy won't cope being a only dog if he has to spend a lot of time on his own.
He needs to be around people or other fur babies.
He will definitely benefit from puppy training and as he gets older we think he would do great with agility training.
His mum is a Maltese/shitzu/poodle and we believe with recording his weight from birth we think his dad is a Jack Russell or small collie dog.
Petey will be a medium size dog.
We will pay for Petey's desexing at 6months old through our nominated vets.
And his next two vaccinations at 10 weeks and 16 weeks.
Adoption details
We shortlist families who will fit the dogs needs and contact them to arrange an introduction. If everything works well, after a timeout to be sure, an adoption agreement is completed. As the adoption donation is transferred the dog will pass into your hands.
Our Adoption Donation Fees vary. Elderly animals or animals with health problems can differ from those for young or purebred dogs.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. They are bathed and groomed, and have had a consultation with our vet who discusses appropriate treatment which we arrange while the dog is in our care. All dogs are desexed at our expense.
We understand that in the first week, issues occasionally occur where training or behaviour modification is impractical and if no other recourse is available and the dog needs to be rehomed, we will agree to refund part of the adoption fee less $100 administration fee. Due to our system processes this will not be instantaneous but will go into your bank account within the next 10 working days.
After the sixth day, we require first refusal if the dog is to be found a different home, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
