My existence on this earth centres around one thing - you. I absolutely worship the ground you two-legged beings walk on and I make it my mission to show you each and every day just how much.

But don't think this leads to unwelcome behaviours. If you're not around I will quietly wait upon my bed or under a shady tree until your return home to me. When you're home? Shadow be thy name.

But first, strangers I've yet to call friend must understand I've come from a life of woe. I may have blocked such memories for I believe in moving forward never back, but I still have some residual shyness and a case of the scareds with strangers. Approach me slowly, show me the love and I'll get over it just as fast.

With other dogs once comfortable I am a great companion.... unless they're large, white and loud for they scare me. And I can hold a grudge... especially if they think I'm the type to share my food bowl.
