Nugget

Nugget came to the RSPCA when he was found wandering with no place to go, unfortunately no one came to claim nugget, we aren't quite sure why because he's such a gem. Nugget is a friendly and social dog, he has had a limited exposure to the outside world, his new family will need to be dedicated owners willing to take it slow and create positive associations to all new things.
Nugget will benefit and cope better with a family with older children, that will understand and give him space, this will allow his confidence to grow. Being a kelpie he will need his family to leave him with things to do whilst they are at work or out and about so he can keep his mind busy. Nugget hasn't had any training and will need lots of positive and consistent training from his new family. We also do dog training around Perth and think he would really benefit from Level one class, this is also a great way for his family to bond with him and also learn how to be the best family member he can be. Nugget will need time to settle into his new home and will need careful exposure to the public, he will need at least 2-3 months with his family until he is taken out and about to dog parks etc. Nugget will not be a lazy dog and will need his new family to understand the kelpie breed and what is expected, most of all Nugget wants to be included as part of the family and to be given the best life possible.
