About Moosey ~ 8 year old Mini Foxy (on trial 8-4-18)
Hello, hello, is anyone out there? Moosey here and I am not one to mince words. I am a one person dog, through and through, love you all but I need that special someone. Don't care if you have a doggy pal for me, but I need to be with you mostly. I will talk to you and I’m more than happy to keep you company. No young guns though, I want a someone in their prime, just like me.
Moosey is a purebred Foxy. Moosey is 8 years old and came with his great name. He doesn't look like a moose, nor act like one, but Moosey does love people. Moosey will talk to you, letting you know he wants something.
Moosey loves laps, being near you and living life with his family. He is looking for a cruisy life, someone to share new adventures, meaningful moments and much happiness.
Moosey would be happy as an only dog if his new family was home mostly. He is currently living with other dogs and gets on well with them.
Moosey gets on well with kids and loves the attention. He is housetrained using a doggy door. Moosey plays with soft toys but is not destructive.
Moosey enjoys going for walks and is great in the car. He hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Dog Rescue Newcastle as usual will be looking for a home with secure fencing but Moosey is not an escape artist & will stay when told.
For more information or to meet Moosey, please contact his foster carer Anne on anne4drn@gmail.com. Moosey is in foster care in Singleton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Moosey’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
