My name is Lucie and I am a 7 year old Staffy!

I am a lovely lady who absolutely loves people -- I love to give cuddles, I love to give kisses, I do big smiles. I return I love butt pats, tummy rubs and head scratches. I also like balls and I like toys that squeak. I am still a playful puppy girl at heart.

As much as I love the peoples, I am still not sure about other doggos. I like my foster sister, but I don't really like my foster brother. I can also get a bit groucho when I see other dogs when I am out walking. I did meet a nice man with a big beard who is teaching me different ways to deal with other dogs -- I think I can learn a thing or two from hat-man.

[Lucie can be reactive around other dogs, but she is attending classes at Jimmy's Dog Training to work on this. While we don't want to rule out a potential home with other dogs, a single-dog home where she can spend a lot of time with people is probably most suitable.]

I also enjoy spending time in my own little place. The humans got me a nifty little enclosure where I can chill out and snooze in a bed and keep my favourite toys!

[Lucie is crate trained and really enjoys having her own space. This also helps deal with her other behaviours as it teaches her and she can learn that she doesn't always need to be shadowing her humans and following from room-to-room].
