About Tinka Clarimond
Tinka Clarimond is less than 4 kgs in weight but umpteen times that in personality. On the go and active. Watching what happens. Loves to be around humans. House trained to doggy door.
People are her passion rather than other dogs and she will growl at other dogs who share you and her couch. Sometimes other dogs will take offence at this.
She is good with cats although might chase a runner.
She is the cutest little thing and does spinnies when you come home. We have to say that again - she is SO cute. Loves a walk and walks well on lead – easily walks for 30 minutes and would like more.
Down side – she wants to know everything that goes on. She particularly doesn’t like you leaving and will howl. She is new to foster care so we are not sure if that will improve or not.
We were told she is a barker but have not seen that yet except for outside noises.
She would best suit a person around most of the time and perhaps a layback dog. She did seem to take a shine to our placid Bobby. For updates on Tinka Clarimond please go to http://www.victoriandogrescue.org.au/dogs-for-adoption/tinka-clarimond-maltese.html
Please note: our dogs are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
