About Alli
Hello friends.
Alli here....and I would like to tell you all about myself.
See, Im looking for my forever family....so if you don't mind...could you share me around with your friends and family? If they are looking to add another beautiful 4 legged friend to the family....I could be the perfect one!
.....About me
Young, attractive, athletic, love nature, love car rides, love shoe shopping, love socializing and being the life of the party. I think Im pretty awesome!
Interests
Everything in my life fascinates me. I love watching my foster brother and learning from him. I love following my foster mum when she’s outside and watching what she does in the garden. I helped her dig a hole one day, but she taught me that we can't always plant things in the garden and so I only help when I am allowed.
I love learning new things and am very intelligent. I am also a good listener, and I will do anything to please you.
When I get cuddles, I give kisses in return. Especially early in the morning when my foster mum gets up. It’s the best way to start the day.
I like collecting some shoes – usually only the outside ones. I hear that’s a greyhound thing anyway so it doesn’t really make me unique...But I like to think I am! I only do it to get my foster mum’s attention and it works….hahahaha!
I try singing with my foster brother when he roos at the sirens. It only makes my foster parents laugh cuz my voice is a bit squeaky. I should leave the singing to him – he’s way more talented.
Every few weeks we have a friend come stay with us. I’ve been told she’s called a Kelpie – she plays differently to us but has now also learnt how to join in on the chasey-game. I play with her toys – she plays with mine. We all go for walks together – l like having her here.
I am told about this thing called a "Fur-ever Home"....and I think I would like one of these. If I had to pick my "Fur-ever Home"...I would ask the "Fur-ever Elves" for a home full of love and a doggy friend who I can play with. I prefer them to be medium or large so we can run together.
But, if there is a place that needs me to be alone for short times, I can do that too!
I can be home alone inside for up to 6 hrs. and can be left outside for up to 8 hrs. Although I wouldn't mind having a doggy friend to play with, I am also not fussed because i just want someone to snuggle and love me when they are home
I would also like my "Fur-ever Home" to have patient people who want to love me til the cows come home! I love children and would be a great family pet. Kids any age would be good so we can play toys together. I love children and would love to have a family.
Because I am so awesome, I wouldn't mind having just a couple or single person family....I would love to be the one you come home to every day and give hugs to. I can melt those hard work days away with just one snuggle and kiss.
If you think you would be the right home for me...or if you would be interested in fostering to adopt me, I think I would like that too! With Fostering To Adopt, you can teach me how to live in your home and after a few weeks, if I fit in without any issues, you can adopt me and make me all yours!
If you are interested in meeting me......Please let my good friends (of the"Fur-ever Elves) from BTG know! I will be waiting with bells on!
Luv from Alli
Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
