About Sootie **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Our next adoption day will be 7th April from 11am to 2pm
It will be at Jumbo's Animal Supplies 9 Chapel St, Lynbrook
For more information on kittens attending please see our Facebook page, adoptions prior to adoption day are welcome.
Sootie came to us after being found in an outdoor chimney, so this is where he got his name from. He was very scared and didn't like people at all. In time things changed and now Sootie craves to be on your lap. He plays, but not a great deal; if he sees you sitting he wants to sit with you. He isn't too fond of the other kittens, but he loves older cats.
He tends to play for about an hour or so before he looks for a human to love him. He isn't bothered by his foster parents' dog, as long as it gives him his space, but he'd rather be with people than other animals.
Sootie is scared of young children running around. He will need a quiet home with people who are home often, because he doesn't like being alone. He needs someone that will be patient with him as he takes a little while to warm up, but when he does he is extremely affectionate.
