I’m Tanika. I’m sweet natured and very playful. I get so much love in my foster home. It’s fun, too, with the children and my brother. There’s always someone to play with whenever I’m in the mood. I’ve been exploring too - going on adventures in The Backyard. With my breed background, you can count on me being devoted to my family.

My Shar Pei wrinkles won’t be as pronounced when I’m older, but you might still need to clean between my skin folds regularly so that I don’t get infections and other skin problems.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I always know the right way to behave. And of course, socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialize and it tires me out. It will stop me from creating mischief at home!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!
